The producers havent forgotten about the pending murder investigation and neither has Colby who is sulking about his sister Bella, whose 72 hour grace period is waning.

Then in what is sort of like a Jas Cam moment, Angelo narrows in on Colbys blood and sand tattoo and it dawns on him that Colby is indeed a River Boy.

I find it hard to believe that a detective hasnt bothered to google Colby Thorne and made the connection to the River Boys the gang that ran Angelo out of town many years ago but there you go.

From this point Angelo wont afford Thorne any more graces and wants to see Bella for questioning in less than 24 hours, which seems highly unlikely given shes MIA somewhere in the Blue Mountains.

The suspense builds while Colby delves into the police files only to discover hes been locked out of the system which places him in the more suspicious category.

Hes not impressed, but luckily a new face wanders into the station in a welcome distraction.

Her name is Taylor, she seems lovely and shes Angelos wife. We get the impression shes a little fed up with her husband, as does Colby who seizes the opportunity to befriend her.

Conveniently, Colby seems to have a half day at work and immediately starts getting Taylor on-side.

Thought you might be a chardonnay girl, Colby says.

She is.

I guess Colby is hoping Taylor and him will forge an incredible bond very quickly thanks to the wine and its part of some grand plan to distract Angelo from the murder case.

Or shes an undercover cop planted to lure Colby into confessing.

Then we move onto Justin who has been lying unconscious in a pool of toxic chemicals until hes found by Alf who jumps into action mode and douses him with water.

Alf says he knows a bit about chemical burns from his days in the SAS so Ill just ignore the bit where he touches Justins clothes which are covered in the acid.

The paramedics arrive.

Justin has sustained chemical burns and is taken to hospital.

His character is pretty boring at the moment so the prospect of death is really taking things up a notch.

Leah and Justins sister Tori, or Doctor Tori in this case, are very concerned about his mysterious symptoms back pain, headaches and numbness in his feet.

and Tori and nurse Jasmine, yes shes at work again, conduct more testing.

We will have more answers in the morning.

Jasmine reiterates how incredible seeing a councillor is, although she still has a long way to go. Like we havent heard that enough.
