Ryan Reynoldsposts a new image from Red Notice, editing in young versions of himself and Dwayne Johnson to reflect how fun shooting was. Reynolds and Johnson share the screen for just the second time inRed Notice, following Reynolds' hilarious cameo inFast & Furious Presents:Hobbs and Shawwhere he and Johnson were revealed to have the same tattoo. The Netflix movie, directed by Johnson's regular collaborator Rawson Marshall Thurber (Dodgeball, Central Intelligence, Skyscraper), also stars Gal Gadot, who will play the world's greatest art thief.

Johnson and Reynolds' characters, the world's greatest tracker and greatest con-man respectively, areforced to team up and chase down Gadot's art thief in the action-comedy. The setup sounds like a classicodd couple comedy, with the twist that the couple come from opposite sides of the law.Red Notice began production in January, but was shut down in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. Johnson, Gadot and Reynoldsonly resumed filmingin September, andare currently wrapping up production. Johnson has said that the production undertook extensive coronavirus safety measures, which was backed up by the fact that production seems to have been completed without any positive tests, at least not any that were reported.

Now, on the same day that Reynolds has announced he's completed filming onRed Notice, he's shared a new image from the film, but with a twist. Posted on Instagram, Reynolds revealed two different versions of a shot from the movie - one with him and Johnson in character, and another with photos of the pair as young children photoshopped onto their adult bodies. The result is hilarious, if a little, disturbing. Reynolds' accompanying caption explains the reason for the edit, saying that working on the film was so fun it made him feel like a kid again. You can see the images below:

The post is typical of Reynolds' bizarre sense of humor, and isn't the first time he's posted a photo fromRed Notice at the same time as making a joke at his, and Johnson's, expense. He previously revealed a behind-the-scenes image where he's talking to Thurber, joking that he was thinking about Johnson with bangs at the time. This latest photo also references upcoming NBC sitcom,Young Rock, which follows Johnson's early life growing up in a family of wrestling legends.

The Red Notice image is also interesting because it shows the characters seemingly in prison, hinting that perhaps that's where Reynolds' con-man is in the beginning of the movie. It's a classic movie set-up, and means that the plot is likely put into action when Johnson's character approaches Reynolds' with a deal to catch Gadot's art thief in return for his freedom. Audiences will find out whenRed Noticehits Netflix sometime in 2021.
